I had the opportunity to do a product review for Ladybug Jane recently and wanted to share my experiences with you, my readers.
As for my product review I had the chance to review two of their lip balms. The flavors that I got to choose from:
- Vanilla Cupcake
- Crazy Coconut
- Wild Strawberry
- Wacky Watermelon
- Blueberry Blast
- Groovy Grape
They tasted the same way they smelled and the flavor stayed on your lips. They were also soothing to my, thanks to this heat/humidity, dried lips. They smoothed them out and protected them against the sun/heat.
I have also been checking out their fun, informative and interactive website. Very easy to navigate and you get to explore the website with Ladybug Jane and her best friend Andy the Aphid. The site is people friendly and kid friendly.
One part of the site that has really peaked my interest and I have spent some time on is the Making A Difference page. There you can play games, find out about Ladybug Jane in the classroom, view videos and meet the creator Jane Graves of Ladybug Jane.
Quoted from their page "We pride ourselves on being the first ever Lip balm using Pure ingredients loaded with Flavor and Fun!" And, I think that they are. Their lip balms are fun, their website is fun and educates you at the same time, they have hit it out of the park.
You really need to check out all the information, if I posted everything that I was reading and reviewed, this page would turn into a short story. I learned so much and give Ladybug Jane, the site, the products, etc an excellent job well done.
Want to know what else is excellent?
They are giving my readers a chance to win a lip balm flavor of their choice.
Going to make it pretty easy to enter:

I'm not sure when the times changed, but surely they have. Do you remember when we were kids, swimming in the creek (that we weren't sure if anything yucky floated in to it), picking up frogs and other bugs with one hand and eating something with the other and playing in the dirt in the mud only to run home minutes later for dinner and not washing our hands? Drinking out of the garden hose? Back when there wasn't warnings on everything.
Nowadays, that doesn't happen. I am always looking for something to wash my hands or to use on my hands that keep them sanitized.
Amazingly, I have come across such a product.
You know what I thought when it said that it protected after 10 hand washes with just one application? I thought "we'll see about that." But truthfully, I think it did.
Also, how perfect is this for someone with kids as well? I have a toddler. I have said things to her that I thought that I would never have to say to anyone. "Please don't touch the cats butt." "Please don't play in the toilet." "Please get out of the cat liter." "Ugggh, don't put that in your mouth." The list goes on and on. Just a little dab on her hands and I know that she is protected from the icky things she can pick up that we know that kids like to pick up.
I was sent an 1.5 fl oz bottle that is good for 120 sprays. This is going to last us a long time.
Other information about Prefense that I think, you my readers, would enjoy knowing about:
• No alcohol! Prefense is made of all-natural ingredients and has absolutely NO alcohol in it!Some of my opinions: We really liked it. I like what it covers, especially germs like MRSA. How can you not like something that can protect you against all the yucky germs out there that are just waiting for an opportunity to jump on you.
• Our technology protects you for 24 hours or 10 hand washings!
• Prefense is non-toxic and safe for kids! It will not hurt you if swallowed!
• Prefense is silica based which means it doesn’t dry out your hands like traditional alcohol sanitizers. It actually smooths and softens your hands. You can totally see this when you apply it!
• Prefense protects against staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains, and more. We fight germs that other hand sanitizers can’t.
• Because “one spray lasts all day” our 1.5 oz Prefense Foaming Hand Sanitizer offers 120 applications, costing only $.08 per day, compared to $1.20 per day with alcohol hand sanitizers.
It has a pleasant aroma and I have to say that my little one really loved the "foamy" application of it. No mess, non-greasy, you can't go wrong with that. Plus, you can just stick it in your purse or pocket when you head on out the door. Very convenient.
If you are interested in purchasing Prefense you can do so directly from their website where they have very reasonable prices compared to other like products or you can head on over to Amazon. If you like using the super saver shipping, Amazon would be the way to go.
They just came out with their first ever Combo Pack! It's only available on the Prefense website and the price is the lowest price ever on Prefense products, just $7.99!
So, tell me, are you interested in winning your own bottle of Prefense?
Thanks to these wonderful folks, I have been given the opportunity to offer a giveaway to my readers of their product. C'mon, you know you want some of this.

This picture was taken at our local zoo/park. I don't know what it is about the expression on the face or what, but it just makes me smile every time I look at it.

I was given the wonderful opportunity to do a product review for Funky Monkey T-shirts.
Last week I received the cutest monkey t-shirt from the U.K from Martin and his crew.
You can find them on the web located here: T Shirt Printing.net .
We were sent an XL which is a roomy XL. My goal was to get my hubby to model it for me for the product review, but I think he thought that I had bad intentions of holding a picture of him in a monkey t-shirt against him in the future, so he wouldn't do it. :-)
So I decided to go with the cuteness factor as a model:
The t-shirt we were sent was grey in color with a very BRIGHT monkey face on the shirt. You can see from the picture that the colors of pink, blue and yellow just jump right off the grey.
It is made with 90% heavy cotton and the stitching is wonderful. I expect that this t-shirt will last long enough as to where the little one will actually be able to wear it as a night shirt and grow into.
It is very roomy. It was an XL and if you normally take an XL you will definitely have extra room in it. It would fit hubby and he is 6'2.
To wash, you just have to turn it inside out (this will keep the colors bright) and just wash on warm with like clothes.
I really recommend that you head on over and check out Martin and his group and TShirtPrinting.net. You can get as few as 12 and as many as 100,000 ordered for your company or family picnic, or just for fun.
I took this from their website:
T shirt printing specialists - welcome to the number one destination for screen printing your personalised T shirts, hooded tops, sweatshirts and workwear.
Highly competitive pricing
Huge selection of garments and colours
High Quality Silk Screen Printing
Quantities from 12 to 100,000
Fast turnaround times
So, please go and check them out. I'm sure you will find something that you like.
Thank you again to Martin and TShirtPrinting.net for allowing me to do this product review.
