Product review from our little girl:
First thing she said she liked was the opening. The music is "awesome" she said. It was quite upbeat and shows a bouncing around Missy Mila. Before the stories start, she appears to be "addressing" her audience by "knocking on" the TV screen and talking right to the kids.
She says her favorite episode was The Hidden Princess.
Which in her words involved a King, Princess, Prince's, lambs and ducks. I didn't really know what the lambs and ducks had to do with it, so we went in and watched it again.
She says she liked it because the Princess was beautiful and her father, the King, didn't just want any old Prince marrying his daughter, so he hid his Princess away and turned it into a hide-n-seek game. Of course, no Prince could find his daughter. But one Prince, use a "trick" to locate her. With the help of a friend, he was turned into a lamb and the King happened across the shepherd and the "lamb" and wanted to give the lamb to his daughter as a present.
"Mommy, the Prince didn't find the Princess, the King took the Prince to the Princess and didn't know it." "That is funny."
ME: Of course, the Prince still had one more test to pass before he could marry the Princess, that is where the ducks come in. I won't spoil it for you, you'll have to watch to see what happens next.
ME: The kiddo really has enjoyed this DVD and has watched it numerous time. I really mean numerous times. I like how all the stories are relatively short, so it keeps her attention and are easy to follow. Missy Mila takes classic tales and puts her own spin on them in a fun way.
Final Note: I really believe your kids would love this DVD or the Volume 2 DVD. Great stories, easy to follow along and cute at the same time. I asked her what she gave it out of a 1-10 for a rating and she told me she gave it a 9 and then ran away yelling "two thumbs up Mommy, two thumbs up" as she was heading back towards the room to watch the next episode!
