Feel Good Friday

It has been hard to come up with a "Feel Good Friday" story when it has been a rough week. We've had snow, snow, and snow. Sure, I like winter (if I didn't I wouldn't live in a place where we seem to measure in feet instead of inches), and it is so pretty when it is coming down, but I am ready for spring. I'm ready for green grass, to hear birds singing, crickets chirping, dodging the yellow jackets that make the porch their home every year and to just be able to get outside with the little one and get some fresh air.

Of course, spring leads to summer, and I'm not so fond of summer heat, but that is for another time.

The little one has been testing her terrible two limits as of late. Nothing out in public per se, but at home we have had some good temper tantrums. Its been a test of will power and sheer stubbordness.

But, even so, she has started doing something with her Dad that makes me smile each time. If you tell her to go "nose-to-nose" with Daddy, she will walk right over to him, put her forehead up against his and go "nose-to-nose." It is the cutest thing but I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet. Both of them laugh loudly when they do this, and it seems to melt all the tension of the day away.

I live in MN and the birds are singing today - it is lovely and gives me hope that Spring is near!!!

I love the Nose to Nose - We say "Noggin" and they touch forheads - although sometimes, the 2 yr old bangs her head at us and that really hurts :-))

I'm right there with you lady. I'm ready for spring but not the heat of the summer. Of course here we only measure in inches but I'm still over it. I think we are getting another couple this weekend.

Nose to Nose is so cute. My youngest is 10 months and she's into open mouth kisses. My oldest is almost 7 years old and she love butterfly kisses.

Stopping by via Feel Good Friday.

Found you from Feel Good Friday... and man do I feel bad for you and the rest of those on the east coast! We've had a solid amount of snow here in Indiana, but nothing like you! I think it's safe to say the entire country is ready for SPRING! Hope you don't have to dig yourself out for much longer :)
