Headline Shirts Product Review & T-Shirt Giveaway

Have you all ever heard of Headline Shirts?

Well, if you haven't, let me fill you in.  They are a company that is located in San Francisco, CA and are the makers of some "Intelligently Funny Tees," you know, shirts that make you think, then make you smile or laugh.  Not your typical run of the mill t-shirts.

Just an example of a couple of their shirts:

When it comes to my t-shirts, I love 'em.  I am a t-shirt kind of gal.  I like them comfy, baggy, soft and ones that can withstand many washings because I live in my t-shirts.

When Katie contacted me about doing a product review and a giveaway for my readers I jumped at the chance.  The t-shirt that I chose to do the review on was the "Kill 'Em With Kindness."  I have to tell you that I love this shirt.  I could not believe how soft it is, oh and roomy.  I love, love, love it.  Plus it is the perfect color to go with jeans or if I toss on a pair of sweats.

They are a 60-40 cotton/poly blend so you'll have to be careful if using a dryer to dry it and use low temps.  Oh, by the way, you'll love the instructions that come with it: "remove before washing and wear with pants."

As for prices they are very reasonable, around $24 and they have a sale going on right now where there are some shirts even lower.  For sizes they have men's, women's and children's sizes, and get this FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE right now. Can't beat that.

Why don't you go and give Headline Shirts a look and see if there is something there that you like, or maybe with the holidays coming up, you might be able to find presents for someone.  Please also check out Headline Shirts on facebook (where if you sign up for their newsletter you'll get a $5 off code for your order, check it out here: $5 code) and you can also follow them on twitter at Headline Shirts.

Now let me ask you, after you have read all of my review (no there won't be a test and if there was I would make it open-book) how would you like to win your own t-shirt? If not, then please feel free to close out the page, if so, just check out the rafflecopter form below and enter away!!!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful folks at Headline Shirts for hooking me up with a very cool t-shirt (did I mention that I love this shirt?) and for also hooking up one of my t-shirt hungry readers with one of their own.

Disclaimer: I received no monetary compensation for this post.  All words written are my own (except for quoted text) and were not influenced by any outside source.  I did receive a free product so that I could do a proper review.

This giveaway will end on October 3 at 11:59 p.m. est and is open to residents of the US.

Packaways ~ Reusable Plastic Multi-Purpose Storage Boxes Product Review

Really, where have these been all my life?

We use a lot of storage boxes.  For storing. For toys. For play.  A lot.  Of course they don't last very long at all.  Having a toddler and a puppy in the house they get ripped quite easily, bent, torn and they just plain fall apart.

Then along comes PackAways. The reusable plastic multi-purpose storage boxes that are available in multiple colors and sizes. For a product review I was sent the bright pink one that is 12 gallons and the neon green one that is 21 gallons.

These are so easy to use.  You just open it up and press on the bottom and it snaps right into place.  To close it, you just do the reverse, press on the bottom and they close right up. Even have directions on the bottom to make it even simpler.  When you don't need to have them in use, they just close flat for easy storage until the next time you need them.

So, what can you use them for? They have many uses.  Kids toys. Clothes storage.  Moving.  Packing up items to send with your college student. Pack away seasonal items.  Christmas/holiday decorations and so much more.  With the different colors you can even color code them. Pack all your clothes in the pink ones, all your seasonal items in the green ones, etc, etc, etc.  So many uses.  So easy to use. Also, and I love this idea.  You can write on the boxes and when you need to change up what is on them you can just wipe it off.  That, my friends, rocks.  If you are like me, with things stored in boxes you have what is in them numerous times.  Things scribbled out, new things wrote.  This way, no scribbling. Wipe it off, write something new.

Pros ~ These are durable and can be used for numerous things. Love the different colors and the many different sizes that you can get.  With the corrugated plastic, your items will be protected from water  and the humidity.  They are priced pretty reasonably considering that you can probably use these 100's of times (with normal usage) before you would have to replace them.  Can't say that about regular boxes.

Cons  ~  I didn't find any cons for these items.  I love them and I think that you'll love them too.

If you want to check these Reusable Plastic Multi-Storage Boxes out, then please swing on over to Packaways.  You can also go and check them out PackAways on facebook.

As they say on their facebook page ~ "It's more than a box, its a storage solution."

I would like to take this time to thank PackAways for allowing me to do this product review.

I received no monetary compensation for this review but I did receive products free of charge so that I could do a proper review.  All words, except quoted text are my own and not influenced by any outside source.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

NeoCell ~ Scientifically Advanced Nutrients and Skin Care Review and Giveaway

I was recently contacted by Melissa at NeoCell and was asked if I would be interested in doing a product review and a giveaway for my readers of one of their products.

NeoCell was founded in 1986 and is located in Santa Ana, California. They have recently won some awards for their products: "Better Nutrition 2012-"Best of Natural Beauty" award Taste for Life 2012 Top Supplement of 2012 "Essentials" award. I have to admit that, though I shop at some of the retailers that they offer their products, I have never heard of them.  I was curious when I read that they were:

NeoCell Corporation is a leader in the natural supplement, skin care and health and wellness industries. NeoCell products are designed to promote health, beauty and anti-aging. The company's product line includes the popular Super Collagen+C™, Collagen Type 2, Collagen Sport, Pomegranate from the Seed, and Resveratrol Antioxidant. With headquarters in Santa Ana, Calif., NeoCell Corporation operates throughout the United States and Europe through distributors, wholesalers and direct response marketing. NeoCell's products are available at Whole Foods Market, Costco Wholesale, Sam's Clubs, GNC, Walgreens, Vitamin Shoppe and most health food stores.
See, told you they were available at quite a few places.

NeoCell has developed a three-step process to help restore your skin and nourish your body to reduce the signs of aging.   It is really a simple process.

Step One: "strengthen skin from within with Collagen supplementation"

Step Two: "hydrate with Hyaluronic Acid Blueberry Liquid or Hyaluronic Acid capsules"

Step Three: "protect the skin and body with antioxidants"

For my review I was sent a bottle of the Super Collagen in powder form and the Hyaluronic Acid Blueberry Liquid.

The Super Collagen states that it is good for hair, nails, skin, ligaments, tendons and more. It is a structural protein and provides strength and flexibility. I wanted to give this a try because I have been having issues with thinning hair as of late.  Plus, everyone wants better skin with more elasticity.  We all want to reduce or slow down the aging signs just a bit. As of yet, I haven't noticed a difference in my hair, but have noticed it in my skin.  As I am normally breakout prone during hormonal parts of the month and so far it hasn't been like that. Plus, I haven't been using the products for all that long of a period of time.

I do have to say that if you get this product in powder form, do what it says for mixing and use a blender if you have access to it, or mix with orange juice.  It is hard to get all the lumps out and when you mix it with water the taste of it isn't all that great (like vitamins). But, be like me and also mix it with other things, yogurt, cereal, or even put it in a shake or a smoothie.  They do have it available in tablet form though. If you want to check out all the product information and data about this product Super Collagen just click the link and all the information will pop up for you.

As for the Hyaluronic Acid Blueberry Liquid, it states that it is good for: Joint Health, Skin Health, All Natural and more. This product, by the way, is easy to get down.  Has a Blueberry flavor and mixing it with about 6 ounces of water you can down it quickly. Again, I have noticed just a slight change in the way my skin looks, maybe a little more glow to it.  I am going to keep using the product and see if I get some really noticeable changes.  If you want to check out product information you can go to the Hyaluronic Acid blueberry  on the GNC site, where all information is listed.

You can also find NeoCell on facebook and twitter as well.  They are currently in the process of updating their website.

In closing: I would recommend that you check out NeoCell and their products and see if they would be something you would be interested in.  All Natural. Healthy.  I plan on continuing the use of their products and checking out some of the other ones as well.

Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, nor do I claim to be, so please make sure you consult with your physician before you start a new diet regimen or new products.

Now, here is the fun part ~ Would you like to win your own bottle of one of the products that I reviewed? Sure you would.  Just fill out the rafflecopter form below and you are in.

Giveaway will end on September 27, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. est.

Disclaimer: I received no monetary compensation for this post.  All words (except quoted text) are my own and not influenced by an outside source.  I did receive the above products free of charge to do a proper review.  Many thanks to Melissa at NeoCell for contacting me about the review and the product giveaway for my readers.
