Feel Good Friday

Welcome to another installment of

FEEL GOOD FRIDAY

Brought to you by:

So, what made me feel good this week?!?  Oh, there were things here and there.  There were also rough patches, but we got through them.

  • We are in the terrible twos.  We are deep in the terrible twos.  Wherever we go, a temper tantrum normally follows.  We had one horrible one this week, which involved me being kicked, slapped, and her on the floor kicking and screaming. I finally got the little one back in her car seat and onward home we went.  I told her that her behavior was unacceptable and that is why we left the establishment.  I told her that she hurt mommy and hurt mommies feelings because of her actions.  She stopped screaming and looked at me and said "sorry Mommy."  I doubt she understands fully what that means, but it was just weird that she decided at that time to tell me she was sorry.

  • The other thing that made me feel good this week?!?  YOU ALL!! Peeps on my facebook page, on a few forums I belong to, etc.  You see this week (yesterday actually) was my birthday and I was feeling a big down.  But I got a TON of birthday wishes.  Even from people who I have never met.  It was awesome and made me feel good.

So, tell me?  What made you feel good this week?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!! I hate to tell you this but my 23 year old daughter still has terrible 2 moments, thankfully they are few and far between but I put the "mother's curse" on her and she has a 2 year old little boy that acts just a bad as she ever did. ;)

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!
I hear you on the tantrum thing. I took the girls to the Zoo on Friday and the zoo is our happy place, but not this time! Sarah was insane. We did have to leave. Luckily I got a pick of her mid-tantrum.

I honestly do not know why it happened. She had eaten a ton in the AM and was well rested. It just wasn't her day, I guess :-(

Two things that made me feel good this week is making homemade butter that turned out awesome, and we had a juvenile released from probation that has totally turned her life around and doing well for herself. It does my heart good when we help people that are going down the wrong path.
