HUGO THE HAPPY STARFISH ~ The Secret To Happiness

Do you know the secret to happiness?

Hugo does now! And you can too! Can it be so simple? Check out: Hugo The Happy Starfish: The Secret to Happiness!

Hugo is a little starfish who seems bored with his life and a bit on the sad side (though my little one says that he doesn't look sad in the book, but looks like he is mad).

He looks for guidance in the form of Manta.  Yes, Magic Manta, one of his good friends who offers him up suggestions on how to be happy.  From something simple like taking a nap, up until the very end of the story when Hugo does find the happiness he is looking for.

Suzy Liebermann takes us on the journey with Hugo while he is in search of something that will truly make him happy.

Our review:

My little one and I sat down together and read this.  Doesn't take long! I believe that your child will really enjoy this. Hugo is a character that children can relate to. Ms. Liebermann believes that "happiness can be learned" with character development.  I tend to agree.  I am a firm believer in positive energy, staying positive, thinking positive thoughts and keeping a positive attitude!

All Ms. Liebermann's books (which are good reads for children and adults alike) are based on a strong character education.  A trait that can be learned. She does this with her star "Hugo" and a beautiful magical underwater world.

Our child really enjoyed this book.  She loves the character, the easy story line  and sometimes just flipping through the pages looking at the pictures.

So, do you want to know the secret to happiness?

I can't tell you that.  You'll have to pick up a copy of Hugo The Happy Starfish: The Secret to Happiness and find out for yourself.
