The Mother's Day before I got married, I got my mom a nice handmade wooden sign that said Mother of the Bride. For my mother in law it said Mother of the Groom.

Sadly my mom passed away this yr in Feb, but she loved receiving simple things like purses, nail polishes, earrings.
