Saturday . . . Memorial Day Weekend

Just wanted to wish all my friends a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend.

If you are going to be out on the roads, please buckle up, put the cell away, and if you are going to be partying it up, please get a designated driver.

And . . .

My sincere thanks to all of our armed services veterans, both past and present. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for stepping up to the plate, and for the ones that are deployed or stationed all over the world right now, please be careful, and come home soon.

Have you thanked a veteran lately?

Be safe everyone.

What a wonderful shout out to our troops. The whole meaning sometimes behind Memorial Day is lost behind the barbecues and the beach trips.

I read your little profile page and I have to say, when I was pregnant with my youngest, they informed me I was AMA. When they told me what that was, I told them to never call me that again. At the time, I was 35. They told me I shouldn't get too upset because when you hit 40, it's called Elderly Maternal Age!

I HATE the medical world.
