Winner has been emailed.  Thank you everyone for participating.  Be on the lookout for a Target gift card giveaway coming shortly.

I was given a wonderful opportunity from HDEnvironments.com to do a product review of their The World's Most Beautiful Places

The DVD that I reviewed had a sampling of the DVD's that they offer on their website.

Their website asks: "Why clutter your home with high tech gadgets when you can create a work of living art?"  Then: "Travel the world without ever leaving your home."

The DVD that I reviewed included scenes from:

* Bali
* California Redwoods
*Costa Rica
* Fall in New England
* Hawaii
*Olympic Rainforest
* Pacific Coast
* Rocky Mountains
* Sacred Canyons of the American Southwest

The DVD was filmed in HD and was an hour long.

My take on it is:

Awesome!
Breath taking scenes!
Makes me want to travel to these areas.

To start with, the DVD picture was crystal clear, and they filmed in some of the most spectacular places.  The showing was so good that you could actually count the layers on the rock formations that popped up on the screen.

I found on most of the scenes that the music was, to sum up in one word: haunting.  But not in a bad way.  It just seemed to "suck you in" to the scene.  It clearly went well with the views that I was being shown.

The sound was also very strong on the DVD.  You could actually hear the ducklings quacking as they are swimming with their Mom (or Dad) and splashing in the water.  You could hear the crickets chirping, and the flow of the water in the rivers and streams flowing.  With the ocean scenes you could hear the water crashing against the rocks.  If you closed your eyes and just listened to the water flowing, you would swear that you were there.  The sound of the waves took me back to our spending time on the lake and hearing the waves come in at night.

All in all, this DVD really takes you to the places.  It does have a very calming affect on you and is relaxing.  The scenes are great, the music is perfect and I think that anyone would love to ad this to their DVD collection.  Trust me, you do travel the world from the comfort of your own home.

I want to thank HDEnvironments for giving me the opportunity to review this DVD.

If interested in purchasing from them, you can find their website here or listen/view samples of their DVDs: HDEnvironments.com.

Now onto the giveaway.
