Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collection by Richard Garay Review & Giveaway

Truth be told I am not overly crafty. I had fiddled around with things years back. Building little bird houses and painting them, finding little things in the craft store and painting them, but really, I wasn't much good. Seems like the things never turned out like they should and I really didn't have the patience to do them (except for those hook-latch rug kits).

Then I got the chance to check out the Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collection by Richard Garay.

Inspired by his passion for paper crafts, event hosting and handmade greetings, Richard Garay designed the line to help paper crafters and hostesses achieve beautiful results every time. Everything is coordinated, so this cheerful, bright and exciting collection makes creating a Celebration not only easy but also fun.
I was sent two Spellbiders Celebra'tions Collections Kits to have fun with and put together.

Celebrate Party Hat Card

Best Day Ever Treat Bag

I have to admit, I am kind of proud of myself and my end results. It was really a lot of fun putting these papercrafts together. When done right, they really look like a piece of paperart. My favorite out of the two was the card making craft. That one took a little more patience to put together, but it was fun doing it.  I really think Richard Garay hit the hammer on the head with these, and it isn't just these types of papercrafts that they have, there is embossing, die cutting, rubber stamping and Make and Take projects. I think that you would really enjoy these. Fun for the whole family.

Perfect gifts, stocking stuffers, etc. Do you know where else these would probably fit in and be fun for the participants: retirement centers, nursing homes, etc. So many possibilities.

Now, do you want to see my final results??

I love to do them especially with my mom, veterans and retirees. Being that I cam from a strict upbring, I value that of my elders and what they have to say. With this I could do crafts and listen to their stories. If I get enough, I might even do them with my scout troop in hopes to raise money. Plus my ideal reason for raising money is to open a computer lab; a place where students come after school and get tutored. Adults can come to learn computer skills that will aid them in their business. And all ages can come to learn the internet, use software and how to repair the computer!
