First Things First Family Prize Pack Giveaway

Have you heard about First Things First?

If not this is what it is about:
"First Things First (FTF) is an award winning not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
FTF is a resource that collaborates with and is supported by a broad cross-section of community organizations, groups and individuals.
FTF accomplishes it mission through meaningful media messaging and skill building classes.Did you know:
• 24 million children are growing up in homes without their biological fathers.
• Only 30% of divorces are due to infidelity, addiction or abuse, 70% of divorces are due to couples feeling disconnected.
• Couples who manage to devote time specifically to one another at least once a week are markedly more likely to enjoy high-quality relationships and lower divorce rates, compared to couples who do not devote as much couple time to one another.
• Fathers provide unique benefits to their daughters through their active and positive presence from the time of birth all the way through adulthood."
I'll admit that this is the first time that I have heard about it and with the way it has been for the past few days I'm thinking I wish I had heard about it before.  What has been on my mind. No time with my hubby, none and I have been starting to feel like we are growing apart.
So going through the videos, this one really hit home. Because for the past few days this has really been on my mind:

Dating your spouse (or partner) nay or yay? I know that I would love to have 10 minutes here, 30 minutes there to just catch up over a cup of coffee or a walk, just to reconnect.
What do you all think? Of course, you know that there is a giveaway attached to this. Just check out the rafflecopter form below, tell me in a blog comment what you think of the video I chosen for this post and then you can do the other optional ones as well.
What can you win?

A pretty cool prize pack.
Oh and before I forget, please check out all the videos from First Things. Which one is your favorite?

I agree with the video. It's very important to make time for your spouse, especially when you have kids and your life is consumed by them. My husband and I get a date about once a month and it's great.

We don't ever go out without our children. We enjoy having them around. We find plenty of time for each other at home, and we sit outside together after my husband gets home from work.

I also like the Daddy Daughter video. I think that is a very important relationship to have as well. I would have liked to have been closer to my dad when I was growing up.

I definitely agree that we need to take more time with the ones we love. It is too easy to get caught up in work, or even silly things like video games, tv and the internet.

NeraCaligula said...

I agree with the video 100%. You need to make the time even if it's only 5 or 10 minutes to collect with each other every day.
